Beautification – To encourage the proper care and maintenance of properties through the enforcement of applicable building, zoning and minimum housing codes; to serve as a contact with the City on various beautification efforts.

Membership & Welcoming – To increase awareness of and membership in PBCA; to welcome new residents and business owners to the neighborhood.

Communications – To compile and publish the PBCA newsletter; to manage the sales, content, and placement of advertising; to communicate with members about events.

Special Events – To organize and coordinate special events or activities (i.e. Spring Fest, Fall Fest) undertaken by the PBCA; to enlist volunteers, donations and involvement by public, private and neighborhood sources to accomplish such activities; to publicize these efforts.

Neighborhood Crime Watch – To facilitate awareness of crime prevention activities among neighbors, and between the neighborhood and Tampa Police.

Planning and Design – To plan for the redevelopment of Palmetto Beach; to protect Palmetto Beach as an area of historic significance; to promote community identity.

22nd Street – To improve and maintain the property owned by PBCA at 308 22nd Street; to promote business development in the 22nd Street corridor.
